Nicholas Hill Garden Construction

Our Landscaping Process - From Start To Finish

  • Once you contact us we will arrange a convenient time to come and visit your garden to discuss your requirements and offer advice on what solutions might be best for you.  We will bring along manufacturers brochures and pictures of previous work to help you make the right decision.  We can also provide you with testimonials from our previous customers.

  • After the initial consultation we will provide you with a written quote within 10 working days, detailing the work involved in your project and costings for materials and labour.

  • If you are happy to proceed with the work quoted for, we will then arrange a provisional date for work to start on your project.  If you have any queries regarding the quote we will be more than happy to discuss them with you.

  • The quoted price is the final price you pay so you can relax in the knowledge that delays due to our wonderful Scottish weather or other unforeseen circumstances will not affect the cost of the project.  Occasionally, extra work may arise during construction that was not foreseen at the quotation stage, for example, if you would like to add something extra to the original specifications.  If this is the case, we will make sure you are aware of any extra cost involved and we will not begin any of the extra work without your consent.

  • Depending on the size of your project, we may ask for a deposit (usually 10%) when you accept your quote or an interim payment to cover the cost of materials.  We will only ask for the balance to be paid when we have completed all work to your satisfaction and you are happy with a job well done.

  • When we finish each project, we like to ask all of our clients to fill in a customer satisfaction questionnaire.  This gives us invaluable feedback and helps us to make sure we continue to provide the highest possible levels of service.
